I want that for all women.  Sweetest Love is not just a song; it is a movement. Know, respect, and love yourself daily, so you can teach others how to please you.”

About K. Michelle:

RCA Music Group artist K. Michelle’s music and performances resonate with veracity; her undeniable emotional connection with her lyrics is a direct reflection of her experiences, deeply rooted in pain, healing and liberation. Her voice is a unique talent that is reminiscent of music before auto tune; her sound is authentic.

K. Michelle has always had a love for music and the arts. Although her love for her craft is innate, her musical talents are a gift that she has struggled to come to develop despite being vocally trained since age seven and being offered a music scholarship to study yodeling at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU). During her collegiate career, she studied Biology and graduated with her Bachelors in English. After graduating, she suppressed her love for music and tried working in corporate America. That career choice was short lived as came to the conclusion that her practical career pursuits paled in comparison to her love for music.

K. Michelle rekindled her romance by touring Asia with Memphis orchestra, Sound Fuzion, but it wasn’t until she used the world of social networking to her advantage by posting her music on MySpace that she peeked the interest of music execs. However, her story is not an overnight success. K. Michelle moved to Atlanta where it took her two years to land a record deal. During those two years, the songstress constructively developed her writing and polished her performances. Music had to make sure she was willing to work for its love!

I can’t fake music. I sing about what I’m going through at that moment.” –K. Michelle

As she develops and continues to learn she wants to deliver honest music that allows her to stay true to her talent, live her dream and wear her passion.
