Kontrol Magazine Presented its annual fashion show this year for the first time with a candy theme adding a different kind of flavor. The event was held at the Jungle Night Club on Faulkner Road in Atlanta. The Pink and Black Affair proceeds will benefit the Marcus Autism Center “for the Cure” Foundation.  The eloquent atmosphere had everything required to be an elitist in the fashion industry, great designers, great models and a great cause. Celebrity guests included: Chilli, V103 DJ Jelly, Reco Chappelle, Notable Song writer Nate Walka, Drumma Boy,  Brian Michael Cox Artist Bertell, R & B Artist Sammie, Neffie of The Frankie and Neffie Show. Chef Madison Shannon Kelly (Diva Delights & Editor at Large for Don Diva Magazine) provided gourmet meals for entertainers and celebs alike.   Neffie reports she is busy working on new projects so look to see more from her. Atlanta artist “Reign” signed with Atlantic Records and we can find Ray Lavender on “The Ultimate Merger” with Omarosa. Tayma Loren of Urban Lengendz Ent. is grinding in the studio, her fashion style compliments her music. Singer and songwriter Graham Knox, Christal Jordan of Enchanted PR and LaNisha Rene of LR Consulting and host/producer of Spotlight TV (Designer Rafael Cox Provided the Dress) were a part of this elite group along with hip-hop artist Young Popp and many more. Luxury vendors were in place; jewelry, accessories and delightful displays of delicious sweets were arranged in an elegant atmosphere of ambiance perfection.

The host of the evening was Bianca Golden from season nine of Americas Next top Model charmed the audience with her beautiful stage presence and quick wit.

The Candy Shop Fashion Extravaganza had something sweet for everyone.

Showing how they express themselves through the creative art of designing fashion;

Larika Page, Novaj, Vitesse eXchange Boutique, Felicia Detrich, Tiger Fly Designs, Moachha Designs, The-Tee, Uniqque Christian Clothing, Egotistic Egotism, Nya Nya Couture, Honor Roll Clothing Group/Fly Dame Couture and Rafael Cox presented a great show. The models high stepped the runway in the beautiful and fashionably well tailored clothes chosen by top designers and boutiques. Each line was created out of inspiration that was dear to the designer as they proudly showcased their beautiful lines to a crowd of fashionistas applauding, cheering and appreciating the view of it all. Julian Lark, editor for www.kontrolmagazine.houseoffever.net humbly thanked the sponsors for their support and peers for making this a successful event. He also thanked the designers for the beautiful clothes that transformed and mesmerized onlookers on the “cat walk” “Original, edgy and exciting wear for the everyday and any day for everyone” is how I describe the collection. Each designer clearly made their own statement complimenting the models beauty as they captured and held the audiences’ attention.

There were also live performances by Singer/Song writer CriStyle and The OMG Girlz from the Tiny and Toya Show.
