Atlanta, GA — Artist Small Eyez releases the highly anticipated EP, G.I.A.N.T.S.,
Tuesday November 13th on the heels of the release of his single, “Going Deep”. Presented in collaboration with 2DopeBoyz.com, GreedmontPark.com, and MauriceGarland.com”, this new project will be the second time 2DopeBoyz and Small Eyez partner for a release, following last year’s NWORDS.

Explaining how G.I.A.N.T.S., which stands for Give It All Now Transcend, came about, Small Eyez states: “My best friend, Spree hooked me up with 88 Keys. We had worked out an exchange/arrangement for music and it didn’t pan out. So instead of me being disappointed, I got inspired and decided to start making some tracks myself. Hit up my radiant bredren Shane aka The Fountain & The Fury, and my long time music partner DJ Sly Fauxx (previously The Soul Stirrer) and we came up with “Going Deep” which started everything off. Then I started chopping up records shooting ‘em to (my engineer) Kenny to lay drums on and cleaned them up from there and the rest is history.”

Explaining the inspiration for G.I.A.N.T.S., Small Eyez states: “The inspiration for G.I.A.N.T.S. came about after months of intensely studying the lives and careers of jazz giants such as Miles, Coltrane, Monk, Tatum, and Parker, to name a few, through documentaries and written accounts and truly analyzing and absorbing the sounds, style, aesthetic, and culture of that era.”

Describing the sound as spaced out, Electric Soul rap/ Indie Electric Soul Rap Indie Hip Hop, meets N.E.R.D X Dangelo Voodoo X Dilla, the EP’s first single, “Going Deep”, sets the tone for the rest of the work with the uniquely distinctive production and wordplay that his listeners have come to expect. The Dayton, Ohio native has been perfecting his craft in Atlanta for ten years now, and in addition to his new material, will showcase some of the talented crew members he has encountered along the way at the official G.I.A.N.T.S. release party held at The East Side Lounge in Atlanta.
