Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless hosted it’s seventh annual “Tools For School” Back to School Jamboree at Turner Field on July 21, 2012. The jamboree provided close to 3,500 students with school book bags, supplies, and clothing for the upcoming school year. “Tools For School” was an free event to all families and children. The jamboree hosted self-empowerment workshops and fun activities for children to participate in. Children were offered free dental, vision, and health screenings by Ameri Group Real Solutions in Healthcare. With the line wrapped around the parking lot, hundreds of people waited to be signed in at intake tables so that they could partake in the activities provided for the day.
