The Second Annual Atlanta Fashion Awards

The event was held at the Compound in Atlanta and the showcase was star studded.
The hostess of the evening was Tameka Raymond, owner of Estella Boutique and a known “fashionista”. The live entertainment was provided by “Sky High.” The evening began with the acknowledgement of everyone nominated in their category. Determination, along with hard work and dedication to their craft led many here to accept their recognition and awards earned. Some designers and make-up artists like Maleka James brings life to an image, molded from a thought. While Dariel Pulliam, best hair stylist, describes hair as a special art, “the accessory that changes your look.” The Band Michael Salon provides the ultimate atmosphere and services. Elite has some of the top models walking the catwalk. Other winners are:

Atlanta’s celebrities turned out to represent in numbers. Madison-Shannon Kelly, owner of Diva Delights and World Entertainment Agency. LR Consulting client Rafael Cox reports that he will be launching a new men’s line in 2011. The line will have a focus on detail, geometric shapes and be very futuristic. Winners were elated and the nominee’s were pleased to be nominated. Fashion and Style will always have a place in our society. The styles will vary and the fashions will change, the creativity is “infinite and free” as it has been displayed tonight. Next year awards will be even more competitive as the year long battle of designers reach beyond their abilities in their zest to achieve the ultimate masterpiece.
